IHG’s voco brand opens its first India property as the group deepens its growing leisure portfolio nationwide this year. The launch marks voco’s entry into one of India’s most visited wildlife destinations.
The opening builds directly on IHG’s expanding presence across the country. As IHG’s voco brand opens its first India property in Corbett, it joins recent signings across Srinagar, Goa, Gurugram, Mumbai and Amritsar. The brand specifically targets travellers seeking distinctive, design-led stays over generic chain experiences.

A Leisure-First Strategy
IHG currently operates hotels across eight brands throughout India today. These include Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, among others. voco adds a fresh mid-premium option that sits neatly within that existing brand mix.
The Corbett property positions IHG firmly within India’s booming wildlife tourism circuit. Guests get direct access to one of the country’s most celebrated national parks and its tiger reserves. The launch reflects rising domestic demand for experience-led leisure stays beyond crowded metro hotels.

Part of a Bigger India Push
IHG posted a third consecutive year of record India signings back in 2025. The group now aims to reach more than 400 open and in-development hotels within five years. voco’s Corbett debut fits squarely into that broader, accelerating expansion plan across the country.
Corbett has hosted travellers seeking tigers and forest trails for decades now. This time, it’s hosting a genuinely new kind of hospitality bet altogether.
