A Multi-Million Dollar Investment
Emirates will invest more than AED 50 million into each new lounge. The airline confirms Munich and Frankfurt are already live. Manchester opens in July, followed by Mauritius in August and Istanbul in October.
The design translates Emirates’ latest cabin aesthetic into a ground experience. Contemporary architecture blends with integrated technology and locally inspired dining. The concept adds wellness amenities built specifically for premium travellers.

Leadership Calls It a New Benchmark
Adel Al Redha, Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer, said the investment reflects Emirates’ commitment to a seamless premium journey. He called the new lounges a space where customers can relax, dine and prepare for travel in comfort.
Al Redha added that the rollout will set a new industry benchmark. He said the concept strengthens Emirates’ premium proposition across its global network.
Over 50 Design Enhancements
The new lounges draw from Emirates’ cabin interiors and its flagship Dubai spaces. Customers will notice more than 50 design enhancements throughout. These include herringbone floors, marble and gold accents, and discreetly integrated lighting.
A backlit Ghaf Tree motif anchors each lounge. The design nods to UAE culture and the national tree. Distinct zones separate relaxation, work, socialising and dining areas.
Work Zones Built for Productivity
Business travellers gain more private and communal work areas. Italian eco-leather seating features throughout the new lounges. Wireless charging and universal power access sit at every seat.
A dedicated artefact wall showcases local artists and Emirati culture. Signature Rolex clocks display global time zones on the walls.

Dining Reimagined Around Culinary Theatre
Dining areas now centre on live cooking and culinary theatre. Menus offer international cuisine alongside a dedicated ‘Made In’ local specialities area. Live stations serve à la minute dishes throughout the day.
A dedicated bread oven bakes fresh pizzas, flatbreads and manakeesh. The menu draws direct inspiration from Dubai’s culinary culture. Curated wines, champagne and spirits round out the beverage offering.
A new barista bar adds a dedicated mixologist to each lounge. Guests can order locally inspired cocktails, mocktails and artisan teas.
Wellness and Restorative Spaces
Emirates’ signature scent of bergamot, citrus and jasmine fills each lounge. Fresh floral displays and local plants enhance the calm atmosphere. Upgraded shower suites feature spa-inspired finishes and sustainable VOYA amenities.
Dedicated prayer rooms offer ablution facilities and integrated Qibla direction. A Quiet Zone gives travellers a space to rest during layovers. Blankets, eye masks and earplugs help guests recharge in comfort.
Private meeting spaces and breastfeeding rooms round out the amenities. All Emirates Lounges operate as silent environments for a peaceful experience.

A Global Network of 42 Lounges
Emirates Lounges remain complimentary for First and Business Class customers. Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members also gain free access. Paid access is available for other travellers.
Emirates operates 42 dedicated lounges across its global network. Eight of these sit within Dubai, including Terminal 3’s flagship facility. The remaining 34 lounges span major airports worldwide, from Auckland to Zurich.
