Air India has announced a new seasonal route between Mumbai and Toronto, confirming the launch on 1 August 2026. Flights begin on 25 October and continue through 26 March 2027, operating three times weekly on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with the carrier’s newest cabin interiors.
Upgraded Cabins Across Every Class
The aircraft features Air India’s newest cabin interiors throughout the plane, with eight first-class suites including sliding doors for added guest privacy. Business class offers 40 fully flat-bed seats for long-haul comfort, while economy rounds out the cabin with 280 seats, giving the route a genuinely premium edge for a seasonal service.
Strengthening Ties Between India and Canada
Mumbai and Toronto share strong business and diaspora travel connections already, and this seasonal route adds meaningful capacity during peak winter travel months. Canada remains one of the largest markets for Indian outbound travellers overall, and the new service should ease demand pressure during the busy year-end travel period.
