Oetker Hotels has made its long-awaited US debut this year. The Vineta Hotel has opened in Palm Beach, Florida. Oetker Hotels operates renowned properties like Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc globally. This marks the brand’s first venture into the American luxury market.
Reviving a Palm Beach Landmark
The Vineta Hotel occupies the former Chesterfield, a beloved 1926 property. Paris-based designer Tino Zervudachi led the complete renovation project. The design restores the building’s distinctive Mediterranean Revival façade carefully. Signature Palm Beach pastels and scalloped pendant lights complete the aesthetic.
A Prime Location Near Worth Avenue
The hotel sits on Cocoanut Row, just two blocks from Worth Avenue. This positions guests close to Palm Beach’s premier shopping district. The Vineta Hotel offers 41 light-filled rooms across the property. Each room reflects the building’s century-old architectural heritage thoughtfully.

Wellness and Dining Round Out the Experience
Guests can enjoy a flower-framed courtyard restaurant called Coconut. Wellness offerings include treatments using Barbara Sturm beauty products exclusively. These touches add a distinctly European sensibility to the Palm Beach setting. The result blends old-world glamour with contemporary luxury service standards.
A Strategic Entry Into the American Market
Oetker Hotels chose Palm Beach carefully for its US debut location. The market’s affluent, design-conscious traveller base suits the brand well. This opening signals broader ambitions for Oetker’s American expansion strategy. Industry watchers expect further US openings to follow this successful debut.
