Mumbai Copenhagen flights will return with Scandinavian Airlines from 1 October 2026. SAS will operate the new nonstop service five times a week, marking its return to India after 17 years. The route will connect Mumbai with Copenhagen using an Airbus A330 aircraft. The launch expands SAS’ intercontinental network and strengthens direct connectivity between India and Scandinavia. It also gives travellers a new nonstop option between Mumbai and Northern Europe.
Five Weekly Flights Connect Mumbai and Copenhagen
SAS will operate flights SK969 and SK970 on the Mumbai-Copenhagen route. The Copenhagen-Mumbai service will depart at 16:10 and arrive at 04:30 the following day. The Mumbai-Copenhagen service will leave at 06:30 and arrive at 12:15. The flights will operate five times each week. SAS will deploy an Airbus A330 with 266 seats on the route. The first Mumbai departure is scheduled for 3 October 2026.

The new Mumbai Copenhagen flights will also improve onward connectivity through SAS’ Copenhagen hub. Travellers can connect to several European and long-haul destinations through the airport. Key connections include New York, Boston and Toronto. The route will support business travel, tourism and cultural exchange between India and Scandinavia. Mumbai’s position as India’s financial capital also makes the service strategically important for corporate travellers and international businesses.
