Air India has expanded its Vietnam network with a new non-stop service to Hanoi. Flight AI2390 departed Delhi and landed at Noi Bai International Airport. Indian Embassy officials and airport staff welcomed the inaugural flight. Hanoi now joins Ho Chi Minh City as Air India’s second gateway in Vietnam.
Building a Stronger Vietnam Network
The new route operates five times weekly using an Airbus A320neo. It complements Air India’s daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City. Together, these routes strengthen Air India’s presence in Southeast Asia. Hanoi is the airline’s eighth destination in the region.

Open-Jaw Itineraries Boost Traveller Flexibility
Travellers can now fly into Hanoi and depart from Ho Chi Minh City. This flexibility supports multi-city leisure and business trips. The aircraft features Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. Air India designed the service to suit both leisure and corporate passengers.
Vietnam Emerges as a Key Growth Market
Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer at Air India, called Vietnam a high-potential market. He pointed to strong leisure demand and growing business exchanges between both nations. Aggarwal added that the expanded Vietnam network also supports Europe-bound connections. Rising interest in multi-city holidays continues to drive demand for the route.
