Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 10 new members to its global portfolio this quarter. The world’s largest independent hotel brand added the properties between April 1 and June 30, 2026. In fact, Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 10 new members spanning Bali, Kenya, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and the UAE.
The brand continues to strengthen its portfolio through distinctive independent properties. Meanwhile, as Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 10 new members, I Prefer Hotel Rewards members can earn 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays. The offer runs for a limited time across all participating new locations.
A Global Spread of New Properties
Lindsey Ueberroth, Chief Executive Officer of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, welcomed the additions. She said travellers increasingly seek meaningful, personalised ways to experience the world. Overall, each property reflects a strong sense of place, she added, through design, culture, wellness or service.

A Caribbean Debut on Saint Thomas
The Botany will debut this winter on Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The L.V.X. Collection property sits within the 300-acre Preserve at Botany Bay, on the island’s secluded western tip. Specifically, it will offer 20 villa-style accommodations with sweeping sea views, two pools, and restorative spa treatments. In addition, guests can explore the surrounding landscape through nature walks, yoga sessions and water-based adventures, while dining experiences showcase Caribbean flavours through a modern lens.
A Wellness Sanctuary in Bali
The Meru Sanur brings 184 suites to Bali’s Sanur Beach. Notably, the property sits inside The Sanur, Indonesia’s first special economic zone dedicated to wellness tourism. Taru Pramana Spa & Wellness anchors the resort’s offerings, drawing on centuries-old Balinese healing traditions. As a result, guests can further embrace renewal through mindfulness experiences and oceanfront relaxation, just moments from Sanur’s vibrant centre.
An Intimate Safari Camp in Kenya
Ilora Retreats opens an intimate safari camp in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The Lifestyle Collection property holds just 14 tented suites across 30 protected acres. Typically, days revolve around game drives in search of the Big Five, while evenings bring fireside gatherings under the stars. Furthermore, bush walks, hot air balloon safaris and cultural exchanges with the local Maasai community round out the experience.

A Creative Hub in Antwerp
Via Antwerp brings 176 guestrooms to Antwerp’s character-rich Zurenborg neighbourhood. The Lifestyle Collection hotel draws on the area’s celebrated Art Nouveau architecture for its design. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy a packed calendar of art exhibitions, live music and pop-up dining, then unwind at MEA, the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant and bar, where locals and travellers gather over flavour-driven cuisine.

A Historic Retreat in Lisbon
MYTHIC SANA Downtown Suites opens on Lisbon’s historic Rua Áurea in the Baixa Pombalina district. The Legend Collection property occupies a meticulously restored building and features 48 rooms enhanced by signature Golden Sleeves Butler service. Afterward, guests can enjoy contemporary dining and cocktails at BLACK MOON Gastrobar before exploring Lisbon’s landmarks and waterfront promenades.

Rounding Out the Portfolio
Five further properties joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts this quarter, extending its reach across Europe and the Gulf. For instance, Montebelo Vista Alegre Lisboa Chiado Hotel joins the Lifestyle Collection in Lisbon, Portugal, while San Clemente Palace Venice enters the Legend Collection in Venice, Italy. Similarly, Teatro Luxury Apartments – Starhotels Collezione brings a Preferred Residences property to Florence, Italy, and The Victoria Killarney adds a Lifestyle Collection hotel in Killarney, Ireland. Finally, Wynn Al Marjan Island completes the roster, bringing a Legend Collection property to the United Arab Emirates.
Rewards and Booking Details
Many new members participate in I Prefer Hotel Rewards, the brand’s points-based loyalty programme. Currently, the programme counts more than 6 million enrolled travellers worldwide. Consequently, members earn points redeemable for cash-value certificates, Titanium status and other benefits across more than 700 participating hotels.
New and existing I Prefer members can earn 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays at any of the new properties. However, the offer only applies to bookings made by September 30, 2026, for stays completed by December 31, 2026.
