The new partnership gives Taj InnerCircle-NeuPass members access to benefits across select Starhotels properties in Europe while extending reciprocal privileges to Starhotels’ I AM STAR members across IHCL’s global portfolio.

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has expanded the international reach of its loyalty programme through a new partnership with Starhotels, Italy’s leading privately owned hotel group by revenue. The collaboration connects IHCL’s Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass programme with Starhotels’ I AM STAR loyalty platform. As a result, members of both programmes will gain access to reciprocal benefits across participating properties in Europe, India, and other international markets. The move comes as travel between India and Europe continues to grow, driven by rising outbound demand from India and increasing interest in India as a leisure and cultural destination. According to IHCL, the partnership will help members access a wider network of hotels and travel benefits across key European markets.

Bringing loyalty benefits across two hospitality networks

The partnership brings together two hospitality groups that share a focus on personalised service and guest experiences. Through the arrangement, Taj InnerCircle-NeuPass members can access exclusive savings and preferred rates across participating Starhotels properties. In return, I AM STAR members will gain access to benefits across IHCL’s portfolio, which spans brands including Taj, Claridges Collection, Brij, SeleQtions, Clarks, Gateway, Vivanta, Tree of Life, and amã Stays & Trails. The reciprocal structure allows members of both programmes to enjoy benefits on accommodation, dining, and wellness experiences when booking through dedicated partnership channels.

New benefits for Taj InnerCircle-NeuPass members

Under the partnership, Taj InnerCircle-NeuPass members can access benefits across participating Starhotels properties located in Italy, London, Paris, and New York. The programme includes special member rates, savings on dining, and introductory benefits on eligible stays. In addition, members can access room upgrades and welcome amenities on qualifying bookings through the partnership platform. For Indian travellers heading to Europe, the collaboration expands the reach of the loyalty programme into some of the continent’s most popular leisure and business destinations.

Starhotels members gain access to IHCL’s portfolio

The benefits flow in both directions. I AM STAR members will gain access to IHCL’s global portfolio, which includes more than 640 hotels across multiple brands and destinations. Members can access preferred rates, accommodation savings, dining benefits, spa privileges, and NeuCoins on eligible spends through participating properties. The partnership therefore extends Starhotels’ reach into India while giving its members access to one of the country’s largest hospitality networks.

Reflecting stronger India-Europe travel demand

The announcement comes as hospitality companies increasingly look beyond traditional loyalty structures and build partnerships that support international travel patterns. IHCL says India-Europe travel continues to gain momentum, supported by strong outbound demand from Indian travellers and growing international interest in India’s tourism and hospitality sectors. The company believes the partnership will strengthen travel opportunities while enhancing the overall guest journey for members travelling between the two regions. For Starhotels, the agreement represents another step in the international expansion of its I AM STAR loyalty programme. At the same time, it gives the group access to a broader international audience through IHCL’s growing customer base.

Strengthening global loyalty networks

The partnership reflects a broader trend across the hospitality industry as hotel groups look to create more connected loyalty ecosystems. Rather than limiting benefits to a single hotel portfolio, brands are increasingly forming strategic alliances that allow members to access a wider range of destinations and experiences. For IHCL, the Starhotels agreement extends the reach of Taj InnerCircle–NeuPass into important European markets. For Starhotels, it creates stronger links with one of the world’s fastest-growing outbound travel markets. Together, the partnership expands travel opportunities for members while strengthening loyalty offerings on both sides.
