Akasa Elevate introduces rewards for frequent flyers

Akasa Air has launched Akasa Elevate, a loyalty programme designed to reward customers for flying with the airline. The launch comes as Akasa marks its fourth anniversary and enters its fifth year of operations. Through the programme, members can earn Elevate Points on eligible flights and selected add-on services. The points can then be used towards future travel, giving frequent flyers more value from their journeys. For business travel, the programme adds another reason to consolidate regular travel with the airline as the airline already offers services such as priority check-in and baggage, which can help streamline airport journeys.

Four membership tiers offer added benefits

Akasa Elevate features four membership tiers, with benefits increasing as members move through the programme. These benefits cover areas such as seats, baggage, meals and priority services. Members can therefore unlock greater benefits as their travel with Akasa increases. The tier structure also gives frequent travellers a clearer path towards enhanced travel privileges. The programme has been designed around greater choice and flexibility. As a result, it could appeal particularly to travellers who fly frequently across Akasa’s growing network.

Retro claims allow members to earn points on past flights

Akasa has also introduced a Retro Claim facility as part of the programme launch. Eligible passengers can claim points for journeys taken from 1 April 2026. This gives existing customers an opportunity to start their membership with points already accumulated. It also makes the launch more relevant for travellers who have used Akasa regularly since the beginning of the financial year. New members can therefore benefit from their previous eligible journeys. The facility is available for a limited period, according to the airline.

The launch comes as Akasa Air reaches nearly 30 million passengers since beginning operations in August 2022. The airline has also continued expanding its domestic and international network. The loyalty programme marks another step in that growth strategy. It gives Akasa a direct way to engage returning customers while building longer-term relationships with frequent flyers. For travellers, Akasa Elevate adds a new layer of benefits to the airline’s existing offering. It also places greater emphasis on rewarding customers who choose Akasa for regular business and leisure travel.
